Original / Vintage French ( gendarme ) riot police helmet

Description

Formerly used by the French riot police, these vintage helmets make a great addition to any collection.

The helmets are all steel construction

they have a plastic inner liner with a leather chin strap.

Some have the french insignia on the front and some do not, please select from the menu.

I believe these were used during the 60’s and early 70’s.

Apologies for my attempt to fit the chin strap, i clearly have no idea! Second picture shows the entire liner and chin strap supplied.
